I went to work and one of the girls that lives on Park Point told me I should be taking pictures down at Canal Park - the fog on the lake and all. It was very cold out, but I happened to have my camera with me, so at lunch time, I went to Park Point. I stopped at the curve on 13th and walked out to the lake. I found some pretty bigs waves - some that were breaking 4 at time. There was a ship out there, but the lake fog/steam was so thick, I could barely see it. I got some beach ice shots and some waves and then back to the car - just too cold! I went up to Cascade Park where I spent many a weekend visiting my grandparents and my 2 aunts. I walked around there and got some good shots of the lake, the steam and the old Central High School tower - a place both my parents and my sister and I went for high school. I was in the first graduating class from the new Central up on the hill - the one that is closing next year.
I love the challenge of getting a good photo by taking lots of pictures and then spending hours weeding through and then tweaking the best photos. My favorites are my grandchildren, sunsets, flowers and animals.
